In awe, I photographed the sun’s rays, bursting through the clouds, and I was encompassed with a time-less sensation of being immersed in those majestic moments when all of creation declared God’s Glory . . . something that can Never be captured on film!
In His Love,
Someday I may be forcibly forbidden to write or speak of Yeshua-Jesus, my Messiah, the One who redeemed me from the shameful darkness of sin by giving His life for mine. But though my words be removed as though my tongue were cut out, my thoughts will continue to be on Him; my eyes will reveal God’s Mercy; my lips will smile and convey His Love; my hands will show His kindness; my arms will hold and give His tender comfort; my feet will walk in His ways and lead others down the narrow path that leads to eternal Life! Even in death, should my life be taken, all I have done in His Name will remain to proclaim His greatness, His power, His glory, His love, His forgiveness, His promises. You Cannot silence me . . . You Will Never Silence Him!
Here is a dream website I designed, which was to be created by my Son, who is now working for Brain Technologies in L.A. This was 12 years ago! I had worked on a vision, but it was too hard to put together at the time, and I had to settle for something a bit different. Someday I’ll figure it out, but ’til then it’s still my dream. And if I’ve learned one thing in this long life of mine, it’s never give up on your dreams!! Lord Willing, they Can come to pass!!
In His Love,
I scoop sand into my hand and let it sift through my fingers. Millions of grains of sand in one small handful from one small beach out of millions of beaches upon the face of the earth. My mind cannot comprehend the mathematical calculations it would take to compute how many grains of sand there are. It is the same with snowflakes–the mathematical probability of any two being alike puts my brain into overload. Or like the stars just in our small galaxy–and yet, the Word of God says He tells the number of them and calls them all by name! Psalm 147:4 What an awesome God we serve…how can we possibly understand the depth and the riches of His grace toward us? It is favor unmerited…it cannot be obtained by works of the flesh. It is given to us…a gift free and clear of any effort on our part to obtain it! Trying to win God’s favor by any effort, no matter how pious, is an offense to the Father…it makes the sacrifice of Christ’s life upon the cross of no effect! God requires nothing from us apart from faith/believing in the shed blood of His Son, Jesus, for the remission of our sins. Our eternal security depends upon our faith in His Grace…grace that is unfathomable, like the sands of the sea!!
In His Love,
Robin’s nest taken at week intervals… this is the next day of the third week:
These three Robins grew fast in three weeks…I was amazed at how soon they spread their wings and flew away! All except for this little guy, who only got a foot away and chirped for his parents. It was a sad sound…he was scared and not as strong as the others. Ever feel that way about your walk with the Lord? Just like the mother Robin, who stayed close and encouraged her fledgling, God is always near… He hears our cries for encouragement and wisely tells us to walk by faith. Like these Robins, may you grow in grace and in the knowledge of the love of the Lord. He’s never more than a prayer away…
In His Love,
January 2010~ Snow Storm
Not fun to drive in weather like this! But it is sooo pretty as those huge fluffy snow flakes come down and blanket the sleepy earth with its downy comforter…much like the trials we go through in life. They are not fun to go through, but as we trust the Lord to take us through them and perfect us as we walk by faith, we can have this assurance: He will cover us with His blanket of comfort and keep us protected as we look to Him for deliverance. And in the end, we know we will be that much closer to becoming like Him.
Be safe this new year, and draw closer to the Lord. He showed me He is going to shake all things that are not of Him this year. Stay strong!!
In His Love,
According to George Barna…
“We are witnessing the development and acceptance of a new moral code in America,” said the researcher and author, who has been surveying national trends in faith and morality for more than a quarter-century. “Mosaics have had little exposure to traditional moral teaching and limited accountability for such behavior. The moral code began to disintegrate when the generation before them – the Baby Busters – pushed the limits that had been challenged by their parents – the Baby Boomers. The result is that without much fanfare or visible leadership, the U.S. has created a moral system based on convenience, feelings, and selfishness.
“The consistent deterioration of the Bible as the source of moral truth has led to a nation where people have become independent judges of right and wrong, basing their choices on feelings and circumstances. It is not likely that America will return to a more traditional moral code until the nation experiences significant pain from its moral choices.” Read more: New Moral Code
