Have you ever simply contemplated God? Have you, when communing with Him, searched for understanding as to who He really is and how He operates? It seems to me that many christians just accept steps and formulas and, statisfied, go their merry, or sometimes miserable, way, wondering why life doesn’t appear any different to them.
I want to know Him!! I want to understand Him. I want to explore His heart and be filled with His Being!! I see and understand so much by His Spirit…things that I cannot put into words, even though I am a wordsmith, and yet, I want to know even more!!
It is a hunger and thirst that connects me with David’s heart:
Psalm 42: 1, 2
As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
Matthew 5: 6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled!!
Oh, Mid…I can feel the emotion and love for the Lord in this. It’s hard to put in into words, isn’t it?
