Eye Hath Not Seen… OT and NT Promise

Posted on March 17, 2009 by admin

While the world around us crumbles, we have this hope within us, and it comes from the same promise given to Isaiah for his people…reiterated by the Apostle Paul for believers:

From the Old Testament to the nation of Israel:
“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4).

From the New Testament to the grafted in Body of Christ:
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Thank you for this, Mid! I have been feeling weighed down by the plight of the world lately and this really helps me feel better.
