In awe, I photographed the sun’s rays, bursting through the clouds, and I was encompassed with a time-less sensation of being immersed in those majestic moments when all of creation declared God’s Glory . . . something that can Never be captured on film!
In His Love,
From sunset to sunrise, the Lord established the pattern of days. And as our sunsets and sunrises accumulate, we tend to view them with greater wonder…we see the Lord’s hand in all that He does, and with Him, we can say…it is good! Take nothing for granted for we know not what the night or day might bring. But “Teach us to number our days, O Lord, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 May we have wise hearts as we go through the coming days…
In His Love,
September has come in with a cloud of mosquitoes and finally, warm weather! A mixed blessing, ‘cuz now that it’s warm, we can’t go outside… ack!
I’m stealing a few minutes to post, and I want to share a neat picture I took yesterday. The mist, the sunrise and a line of posts makes me think of eternity and how each true believer is linked to one another on the journey to heaven.
The love of Christ is the line that connects us, and we hold each other up and keep one another in a straight line along the narrow way.
Stand strong, believers; the end looks far away, but it’s not!!
Writing for Him,
This picture was taken the other morning, and as I watched the sunrise, a deer bounded through our 50 acres of soybeans. Ever so often, she would stop and just look at me, sending a thrill through my being. I took a picture, but she was out of focus, still, what an amazing blessing as I stood and watched the golden rays of daylight burst through the clouds! It was one of those moments that made the sunrise even more special. And yet, all this beauty with its thrilling encounters are but a taste of what’s to come. In the end, God promises to create a new heavens and earth for us to enjoy in His Presence.
While my days have been filled to the max with busyness, I awake with a conversation with the Lord and progress into a Bible study time and end in prayer. It may be short on occasions, but I know I can’t make it through the day without this alone time with the Him. Were it not for my family and so much to accomplish through each day, I would desire to be like Enoch!!
This is short, because I must be out and about again, but I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the most important aspect of my life… The Lord Jesus Christ!
