I Will Not Be Silenced . . .

Someday I may be forcibly forbidden to write or speak of  Yeshua-Jesus, my Messiah, the One who redeemed me from the shameful darkness of sin by giving His life for mine. But though my words be removed as though my tongue were cut out, my thoughts will continue to be on Him; my eyes will reveal God’s Mercy; my lips will smile and convey His Love; my hands will show His kindness; my arms will hold and give His tender comfort; my feet will walk in His ways and lead others down the narrow path that leads to eternal Life! Even in death, should my life be taken, all I have done in His Name will remain to proclaim His greatness, His power, His glory, His love, His forgiveness, His promises. You Cannot silence me . . . You Will Never Silence Him!

Separating Sheep and Goats–A Warning!

I was thinking about the words of the Lord concerning the fate of those who accept and believe on Him and those who reject Him as the Son of God and Savior. His parable of the sheep and goats came to mind. He didn’t casually pick those two animals as an analogy. If you know anything about sheep, you know they are loyal, and placid. They follow their caretaker, stay with the flock, and they peacefully graze in the pasture chosen for them. And they know their master’s voice.
Goats, on the other hand, are mischievous and inquisitive. They do not respect boundaries and will browse on anything that strikes their fancy…sometimes to their destruction. They are rambunctious to the point of being uncontrollable at times and will not obey unless they decide they want to, often running after whom ever comes along–leaving their masters exasperated.
Many are the church denominations that fit into the goat category, for they have run after “other” masters, whose words they focus on, instead of God’s. And, to their detriment, they base their theology on false teachings often mingled with pagan philosophies. Once again, these concepts have crept into the church today under men like Rick Warren and others who have introduced mystical and eastern religion practices into their universal beliefs.
One day, Jesus said He will separate the sheep and the goats…which means they are in the same field together. (To the world, all “Christians-so-called”, look alike.) But He knows those who follow His Voice and do the Will of the Father, and those who staunchly stand on the interpretation of the Bible by a charismatic man (past or present) and stubbornly refuse to hear the Truth set forth in God’s Word. Make no mistake, there is a separation coming…one unto eternal life and one unto eternal damnation reserved from the beginning for Satan and his fallen angels. Take heed that you do not fall for the heresy of universalism and the “All roads lead to heaven” and “All eventually will be saved” doctrines. Jesus was very strong in His statement that No One will enter the kingdom of heaven except those who believe in Him. John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.” His death was so horrendous and unbearably cruel, that to say He suffered it for nothing–that all will be saved in the end–is the worst heresy of all. His death was for all who would believe in Him…period.
I hope you will make the conscious decision to believe in Jesus, to acknowledge your sins and accept His death on your behalf, and to follow His Words–His Truth–and not some man’s interpretation. His Word is there for all to delve into and understand…but make sure you are hearing His Voice.
In His Love,

Remnant called to prayer and worship

A remnant of faithful believers is being called by the Holy Spirit to be in prayer for American, Israel and countries such as North Korea. How can I say remnant in this country of a church on every corner? Because many are called, but few are chosen – our Lord’s own words – many churches are harboring practices and views contrary to the Word of God. And God will not be mocked. Those believers who see clearly what is happening with the “powers that be” know that it’s only a matter of time before “all hell breaks loose” across this land. We need to be praying as never before that God will use those of us who truly trust and believe in Him to minister to those who will be desperate for help, comfort and wanting to hear the Truth in the Bible that long has been withheld from them. We are prayer warriors called to worship the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob… in spirit and in truth. The Holy Spirit is calling the army of God to arms!!! As we take back this land by battling the forces of darkness in the spirit, may the God of Heaven go before us … The victory is the Lord’s!

Amazing, God!

If God were anymore amazing, I feel my heart would burst… His mercies toward me are new every morning, even when, and especially when, I wake up and feel sad or overwhelmed by what has happened the day before or throughout the week.

We wish we could live above the realm of time, like our Father does, and see the end from the beginning. But that’s exactly the opposite of how we live, and it’s for a very good reason. Satan, the accuser, says God is unjust, unfair, and doesn’t really care about us. In order to prove him wrong, we need to live our relationship with the Lord by faith. Faith in things not seen. Faith in knowing that what He says about our “end” will come to pass.

The truth will prevail when all is revealed at the end of the age…until then, we must live out each second, of each minute, of each hour, of each day, of each week, of each month, of each year of our lives, trusting in the One who does see the end from the beginning and promises to be with us through it all!!

What a privilege to know that we will be the ones who will vindicate the Lord before the host of those who choose to follow the “deceiver” down the wide, easy, and popular road to eternal separation from their Creator. We–simple, human, frail, weak, prone to failure, creatures…we will be the ones, through our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and through His strength and power, who will stand before the Throne, clothed in His righteousness and wrapped in His mercy and grace.

If we live our lives, trusting the Lord through each situation that confronts us, it is a testimony that flies in the face of satan’s lies and accusations against Him. That’s pretty amazing, God!!!

Hungry – Searching for "Food"…

If you’ve noticed that my last blog, Armed and Ready is gone, it’s because a faithful friend remembered seeing it was an urban legend and was sweet enough to let me know. Rather than feel sheepish or embarrassed, I saw that it served as an illustration of what the Lord has been showing me about today’s Christianity–the general lack of TRUTH. Most church-goers are happy to receive whatever is being preached to them from the pulpit as fact, without checking their Bibles to make sure it is indeed true, while those who truly love the Lord are hungry for Truth and are seeking the Lord for a deeper understanding of His Word. Matthew 6:6: “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled!”

John writes to us concerning this: I John 2: 26 “These things have I written unto you concerning them that deceive you.” 27: “But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.”

Even Paul, when at Berea, said of those who heard him preach: Acts 17:11 “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

Sadly, we live in a fast paced, give-it-to-me-now-so-I-can-get-on-with-other-things, age. This includes religion. Shorter sermons, palatable without any chewing, easy on the conscience, and excitingly new and different, even if it comes from practices the Bible- i.e God – says is wrong.

I believe this year, 2009, is a year of separation. God is separating those who are His from those who are described in II Timothy 3…
1: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2: for men shall be lovers of their ownselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.”
3:Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.
4:Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6:For of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts.
7:Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth!

But don’t stop here…read on and notice verses 12-17 and Chapter 4:1-4
Let me highlight just a couple:
13: But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
4:3: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4: and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned into fables.
Paul then admonishes Timothy to remember the scriptures he has been taught:
15: which is able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith in Jesus Christ
16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
17: That the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
4:2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

My prayer is that more will be convicted by the Holy Spirit, and will turn once again to the Lord with their whole hearts. God has drawn a line in the sands of this year…it’s up to us to cross over and be counted worthy to be His. Be hungry for Truth and be filled!!

Merry Christmas~Emanuel!!!

Christmas 2008… what an eyeopener for me in so many ways. I never liked the word Christmas, because of the association with the catholic mass…but I found out from a friend that mass means celebration… So, celebrate Christ today!! Along with that, I just got an email from the Institute for Creation Research about Jesus’ birth being in late August, early September. If you count back, you come to His miraculous conception happening around the end of December!! Which means, we can celebrate the most important aspect of Christmas–His Immaculate Conception!
Imagine…the Son of God, willing to become Emanuel, God With Us! I have a new perspective on this Blessed Celebration that liberals, atheists and naysayers would love to see dissolve into a mere pagan holiday. May we cling to the Truth and never let the true meaning of Christmas get lost in the frivolity and commercialization! Let’s keep Christmas alive for all that it portrays: God’s Amazing Love, His Son’s Willingness to live among us, die for our sins, and live again with the promise to return for those of us who believe in and follow Him, and for the awe-some power of the Holy Spirit in Christ’s conception, and in our lives as we live for the Lord!
